Moscow and St. Petersburg to host Energy Efficiency and Energy Development International Forum - ‘Russian Energy Week’ (REW) on 3–7 October 2017

REW is to become a unified world-class industry-based business communication platform in Russia with a focus on energy issues. The Forum will discuss prospects for the development of such core sectors of the economy as the oil, gas, coal, and petrochemical industries.
The goal of the event is to demonstrate the prospects of the Russian fuel and energy sector and realize the potential for international cooperation.
More than 8,000 representatives of the federal and regional government authorities, national and foreign companies that work in the industry, the scientific and expert community, and young people as well as roughly 1,000 media representatives will take part in the forum. Representatives from more than 70 countries of Europe, Asia, Australia as well as North and Latin America have been invited.
Russian Energy Week will feature a number of significant events, such as the International Summit of Mayors, the second day of the 6th ‘Global Energy 2017’ Summit in Moscow, the conclusion of the 4th ENES 2017 All-Russian Contest of Energy Conservation and Energy Efficiency Projects as well as the 3rd MediaTEK 2017 All-Russian Contest of Media Outlets, Press Services of Fuel and Energy Industry Companies, and Regional Administrations, and a presentation of the #BrighterTogether All-Russian Energy Conservation Festival.
A key part of the programme will be the Russian Energy Week Youth Day during which Russian Minister of Energy Alexander Novak will hold a traditional informal meeting with students and young specialists in the industry.
The REW Forum programme will also extend to St. Petersburg, where the St. Petersburg International Gas Forum will be held on 3–6 October at the ExpoForum Exhibition and Convention Centre.
