Alexander Novak and Sergey Sobyanin visit Russian Energy Week exhibition complex
6 October, Moscow. – Russian Minister of Energy Alexander Novak and Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin surveyed exhibition pavilions set up for Russian Energy Week.
As part of their tour, the officials visited the unified stand of the Moscow Government, which is dedicated to the development of the energy industry in the capital region as well as energy conservation and energy efficiency projects. Novak and Sobyanin examined the advanced technologies used to create the stand and noted that some of the developments had been utilized for the first time in the world.
Rosseti General Director Pavel Livinsky gave the officials a tour of his company’s stand and told them about the achievements of Russia’s largest energy company in advanced technologies and energy efficiency.
The officials also visited the stand of Rosatom and Transneft.
During the plenary session ‘The Russian Fuel and Energy Industry: National Interests and Global Trends’ held as part of Russian Energy Week 2017, Gazprom Neft CEO Alexander Dyukov offered assurances that oil production will continue to increase even if low prices tumble. “We will continue production even at prices of USD 10–20 per barrel. The first ‘Russian Energy Week’ Energy Efficiency and Energy Development International Forum was held in Moscow and St. Petersburg on 3–7 October 2017 at the Central Exhibition Hall ‘Manege’ and ExpoForum Convention and Exhibition Centre.
