Less than two weeks left to the application deadline for the MediaTEK 2017 National Contest

The deadline for the Federal Tour of MediaTEK 2017, 3rd National Contest of the media, press services of FEC companies and regional administrations, is 20 August. The event is held with the support of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation.

Federal and regional media, journalists, public relations departments of fuel and energy companies and of regional administrations are invited to take part.

The principal purpose of the competition is to promote energy companies’ professionalism in providing media coverage of their activities, in informing the population about FEC projects, and to stimulate projects aimed at popularizing jobs in the fuel and energy complex and at increasing the significance of work performed in the power, oil and gas industries.

Projects implemented between 1 November 2016 and 20 August 2017, and journalistic writings published in the same period are eligible for MediaTEK 2017. Applications may be submitted on the website: http://медиатэк.рф/.

The winners will be determined by expert assessment in accordance with the criteria indicated in the competition documentation. Dmitry Peskov, Press Secretary of the President of the Russian Federation, Deputy Chief of the Presidential Executive Office, chairs the Expert Council, which also includes top managers of federal business media and of journalism departments of Russian universities, members of executive authorities and FEC experts.

The winners of MediaTEK 2017 will be announced in October at the ‘Russian Energy Week’ Energy Efficiency and Energy Development International Forum.
