Oman delegation to take part in REW 2017
A delegation from Oman will take part in the events of Russian Energy Week (REW), Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Sultanate of Oman to the Russian Federation Yousuf Issa Ali Al Zadjali said. The delegation will include Deputy Minister of Oil and Gas of the Sultanate of Oman Salim bin Nasser bin Said Al Aufi.
The 'Russian Energy Week' Energy Efficiency and Energy Development International Forum will be held in Moscow on 3–7 October 2017. Discussions of the situation on global oil markets and issues in the oil and gas industry are planned as part of the REW business programme.
The Joint OPEC-Non-OPEC Ministerial Committee on Monitoring Compliance with the Oil Output Cuts Agreement held its 4th meeting co-chaired by Alexander Novak, Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation, and Khalid al-Falih, Minister of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources of Saudi Arabia; Essam al-Marzouq, Kuwait’s Oil Minister, and Mohammed Barkindo, OPEC Secretary General, also participated in the meeting.
