PAO T Plus has completed the installation of metal structures and photovoltaic solar modules on the construction sites of Sorochinsk and Novosergievka SPPs in Orenburg Region. Transformer attachments are fully mounted; high-voltage equipment is ready for connection to Russia’s power grid.
Fieldworks came to the home stretch. Completion of the construction is scheduled for the autumn this year: contractors and the operating company are making every effort for early commission of the new capacities. Laying cables, installation and adjustment of auxiliary equipment is in full swing. Alongside with the installation and commissioning works, the process of obtaining permits for the industrial operation of the SPPs was initiated.
To recap, T Plus began construction of a photovoltaic block with a total capacity of 105 MW in the west of the Orenburg Region in February this year. Initially, completion of construction and commercial commissioning of both plants was scheduled for early 2019. Sorochinsk solar plant with a capacity of 60 MW will become the largest in the Russia’s power grid.
The T Plus group is a partner of the International Forum ‘Russian Energy Week’, which will take place on 3–6 October 2018 in Moscow.
Representatives of the company participated in REW 2017, speaking at the panel discussion ‘Development of generating capacities of the electric power industry: issues and prospects’, at the round table ‘Heat supply reform: new incentives and first results’ and at the meeting of the Chief Engineers of heat supply companies. The discussion of alternative energy and the future of power generation will resume at REW 2018.
