Alexey Texler: “REW 2018 will bring together experts in digitalization, innovation, and research”

Digitalization, innovation, and renewable energy in the fuel and energy sector will be among the key discussion topics on the sidelines of the Russian Energy Week International Forum at Moscow Central Exhibition Hall ‘Manege’.

Russian First Deputy Minister of Energy Alexey Texler will take part in the discussions: ‘The Electric Power Industry: Challenges of the Fourth Industrial Revolution’, ‘Unlocking Russia’s Potential in the Global Renewables Industry’, ‘EnergyNet: The Reboot’, and ‘Digitalization of Energy: From Local Solutions to the Transformation of the Industry’.

Events on the forum’s sidelines will also include ‘The Import-Substitution Strategy for the Energy Sector: National Projects and Digital Technologies’, ‘Industry 4.0 Technologies in the Coal Sector’, ‘Renewable Energy Sources in Russia: From the Wholesale Market to Supplying Energy to Isolated Regions’, Anatoly Chubais’s lecture ‘Renewable Energy in Russia: The Current State and Prospects', ‘Development of Hydropower: Projects in the Context of Sustainable Development’, ‘Consolidating an International Alliance to Localize Projects to Convert Waste to Energy’ as well as a meeting of leaders and experts from wind industry organizations ‘The Challenges of Localizing the Production of Wind Turbines in the Russian Federation’.
