Roscongress Foundation wins EFEA AWARDS 2018
An EFEA Awards 2018 ceremony was held on 18 January as part of the Europe + Asia Event Forum (EFEA). Roscongress Foundation won in three categories at once: ‘Discovery of the Year’ with the Russian Energy Week international forum, ‘Project of the Year’ with the Eastern Economic Forum, and ‘Event of the Year’ with the 19th World Festival of Youth and Students.
“I am very excited to kick off the new business season with such a success. Here are just some of our statistics. Our Foundation turned ten at the end of last year. During those ten years, we achieved impressive results, having arranged more than 450 events from Montevideo to Vladivostok and welcomed participants from 188 countries. Looking back, I realize that we have done colossal and even truly momentous work. I would like to thank our industry experts for their attention to and appreciation of our events. The professionalism of our team deserves special mention; together we have established solid standards for the quality and level of organization and hosting of events in our country”, Roscongress Foundation CEO Alexander Stuglev said.
EFEA Awards is an independent annual international events industry award of excellence. Leading experts and representatives of the media specializing in research vote to give special prizes and diplomas to leading event organizers operating on the Russian market and to each year’s best events, including forums, exhibitions, conventions and festivals.
Organizaations have established a special partnership aimed at carrying out joint projects and achieving mutually beneficial goals.
London, 9 October 2020. Today, on the closing day of World Energy Week, Dr Angela Wilkinson, Secretary General & CEO, World Energy Council, together with Alexander Novak, Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation, announced the theme of the World Energy Congress 2022.
The Global Energy Association has prolongated the deadline for the submission of applications to the international contest Energy of Words. September 22, 2022 has been announced as the new final date. The competition aims to encourage reporters, columnists, and experts covering the most burning issues of today’s energy industry, including the transformation of the global energy balance, development of new technologies, and climate change. The winners will be announced and awarded in a ceremony that will take place as part of the forum Russian Energy Week, which will be held from October 12 to 14, 2022. The Forum is organized by the Roscongress Foundation and the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation with support from the Government of Moscow.
