Contest
experts have selected 46 top entries and submitted them for review by a jury
composed of representatives from major media holdings, TV channels, news
agencies, and business publications.
“This
year, the competition entries are notable not only for their broad geographic
range but also for their wide thematic coverage, ranging from global oil
production dynamics and energy transition prospects to the gasification of
Russian regions and energy supply to remote areas. The same diversity applies
to the technologies featured, including autonomous power generation sources and
large nuclear power plants, which play crucial roles in energy supply both in
Russia and abroad,” noted Sergey Brilev, President of the Global Energy association.
The
winners will be announced at the Russian Energy Week International Forum, which
will take place in Moscow on 26–28 September 2024. Deputy Prime Minister of the
Russian Federation Alexander Novak and Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry
Peskov will participate in the award ceremony.
Russian Energy Week is being
