The World Energy Council announced the launch of WE Talks

The World Energy Council is thrilled to announce the launch of WE Talks, our new platform for engaging inspirational leadership voices in conversation on energy.

WE Talks addresses the pressing need for fresh and more inclusive dialogues, both within and outside of the energy community, to successfully manage energy transition. This platform creates space for energy conversations that are human, accessible and relevant with a vision to change the way we talk about energy.

In our WE Talks series launch episode, our Secretary General and CEO Dr Angela Wilkinson, reflects on the power of people in energy transition and why she hopes that WE Talks will generate a new excitement about energy.

The Organizing Committee in charge of preparing for and holding the 25th World Energy Congress in St. Petersburg in 2022 held its first meeting in Moscow. The meeting was chaired by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Kozak and attended by Advisor to the Russian President and Deputy Chairman and Executive Secretary of the Organizing Committee Anton Kobyakov, Russian Minister of Energy and Deputy Chairman of the Organizing Committee Alexander Novak, World Energy Council Russian National Committee Executive Director Andrey Logatkin as well as representatives of ministries and agencies that are responsible for preparing for the event.

05 September 2017 Regional energy efficiency rating to be presented at Russian Energy Week

The Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation has presented a preliminary list of the regions that are leaders in the energy efficiency rating.
