Winners of the contests for the best flashmob, song performance and symbol for #BrighterTogether festival announced

During the #BrighterTogether Youth Day (#VmesteYarche) of the Russian Energy Week International Forum, winners of the All-Russian Energy Conservation Festival #BrighterTogether contests for the best flash mob, the best festival symbol and the best song performance were selected.

Contests were held in August and September 2018; anyone could take part.

Results of the All-Russian Energy Conservation Festival #BrighterTogether flashmob contest

The purpose of the All-Russian Energy Conservation Festival #BrighterTogether flashmob contest was to promote consciousness for energy, natural energy resources, energy-efficient technologies at home and at work, as well as selection of the best flashmob performances for replication in the Russian regions during the 2019 Festival.

77 projects took part in the qualifying round of the flashmob contest. 18 performances were chosen to compete in the finals.

The best flashmobs were chosen at the special session of the #BrighterTogether Youth Day, with participation of students and young energy sector professionals who represented the winning teams of the ‘Forecasting Technological Development in Russia’s Energy and Fuel Industry to 2030’ competition project.

Participants of the session to assess the flash mobs were the teams of RusHydro PJSC, SO UES JSC, Irkutsk National Research Technical University and St. Petersburg Mining University. Participants of the Youth Day chose the best flashmobs in several nominations and awarded their authors.

Largest Flashmob: Cosmonaut youth camp, Chuvash Republic.

Most Original Flashmob: Maria Durseneva with the support of the Russian Schoolchildren Movement and the Department of Fuel and Energy Industry and Territorial Development of the Vologda Region.

Most Energy-Efficient Flashmob: Nadezhda Filippova, Chaika community centre and Rovesnik teenagers and youth centre, Balakovo, Saratov region.

Youngest Flashmob: team of the Verkh-Katunskoye Middle School, Biysk District, Altai Territory

Dancing Flashmob: Nadezhda Filippova, Chaika community centre and Rovesnik teenagers and youth centre, Balakovo, Saratov region.

Coolest Flashmob: Yana Bariyeva, Kazan State Power Engineering University student club.

Best Performance Video Flashmob: Maria Durseneva with the support of the Russian Schoolchildren Movement and the Department of Fuel and Energy Industry and Territorial Development of the Vologda Region.

The federal organizing committee of the festival also acknowledged the work of Kristina Mikhina and the team of the Lipetsk State Technical University student council in the ‘Coolest Flashmob’ nomination.

Results of the All-Russian Energy Conservation #BrighterTogether Festival symbol contest

The purpose of the All-Russian Energy Conservation Festival #BrighterTogether Festival symbol contest was to find a symbol that would be characteristic of the Festival’s positive energy. Under the terms of the contest, it could be an image of a person, an animal or an inanimate object.

The Festival symbol had to reflect consciousness for energy and energy itself, as well as complement the already existing festival logo.

The task of the symbol is to popularize the #BrighterTogether Festival in a special creative form.

88 works were submitted for the All-Russian Energy Conservation Festival #BrighterTogether Festival symbol contest. 45 works were selected for the open voting on the Festival page in VKontakte social network.

Based on the results of the vote, 13 works were chosen to compete in the finals.

The final stage of the contest was also held during the #BrighterTogether Youth Day.

The Festival’s organizing committee acknowledged the creative ideas proposed during the contest.

The works of two authors who suggested the image of a firefly as a symbol of the All-Russian Energy Conservation Festival #BrighterTogether were recognized:

‘Firefly Lyosha’ by Elina Magomedova, Neftekumsk, Stavropol Territory

‘Firefly’ by Alina Aleksandrova, Belgorod

The work ‘Let’s Be Brighter’ by Bogdan Sergeev from Yaroslavl, which received the most votes at the qualifying stage was also recognized.

Results of the All-Russian Energy Conservation Festival #BrighterTogether song contest

The purpose of the All-Russian Energy Conservation Festival #BrighterTogether song contest was to promote consciousness for energy and natural energy resources through emotional involvement and shaping people’s personal stance on the subject.

Performances by the contest’s participants were evaluated by young fuel and energy industry specialists from the creative teams of the #BrighterTogether KVN Cup.

The teams voted for the #BrighterTogether Festival winners in several nominations.

Best Solo Performance of the Festival’s Official Song: Ekaterina Ivleva, Umka kindergarten, Nadym, Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area.

Best Choral Performance of the Festival’s Official Song: ‘Good Mood’ vocal group, ‘Spring’ creativity centre, Tchaikovsky, Perm Territory.

Best Musical Arrangement of the Festival’s Official Song: Creative team of Suvorov Lyceum №27, Rostov-on-Don, Rostov Region.

Best Song Performance by Children (aged 3 to 14): Creative team of School №883, Moscow.

Best Song Performance by Youth (aged 15 to 25): ‘We are together!’ team of the Leaders City Council, Usinsk, Komi Republic.

Best Video of the Festival’s Official Song: Creative team from Krasnoyarsk

Original Performance of the Festival’s Official Song: Creative team of Suvorov Lyceum №27, Rostov-on-Don, Rostov Region.

The Federal Organizing Committee of the All-Russian Energy Conservation Festival #BrighterTogether contests thanks all the participants for their energy and positive approach to the contests and the festival’s theme.

Awards will be handed over to the winners and awardees through the festival’s regional organizing committees or sent directly.
