Registration closes for participation in Russian MediaTEK 2017 contest

Registration closed on 20 August for participation in the Russian contest among the media, the press services of fuel and energy companies, and regional administrations MediaTEK 2017.

The contest among national and regional mass media, journalists, the public relations departments of companies in the fuel and energy industry, and regional administrations is being held for the third time.

The main goal of the contest is to enhance the professionalism of energy companies in terms of the information coverage of their activities, inform the public about the projects that aim to develop the fuel and energy sector, stimulate projects that promote the fuel and energy industry, and boost the importance of the work of power engineers, oil workers, and gas workers.

The contest finalists will be determined by the Expert Council headed by the Russian President’s Press Secretary and Deputy Head of the Russian Presidential Executive Office Dmitry Peskov. The jury will also include the heads of major national business media outlets, journalism departments of Russian higher educational institutions, representatives of the government authorities, and fuel and energy experts. The best work will be presented for open online voting in order to determine the winners.

The winners of MediaTEK 2017 will be awarded during the ‘Russian Energy Week’ Energy Efficiency and Energy Development International Forum, which will be held in Moscow on 4–7 October 2017.
