Russian Energy Week to Take Place in Moscow 12–14 October

Alexander Novak, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation has announced that the Russian Energy Week International Forum will take place in Moscow from 12 to 14 October 2022. The announcement was made on the sidelines of St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. 

"We have started to actively prepare for the Russian Energy Week. When developing the business programme of the event we are going to use the conclusions articulated at the key discussion platform in Russia: St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. Holding the Russian Energy Week and its planned agenda will allow us to continue positioning Russia as a world energy power,” said Alexander Novak.

Russian Energy Week 2022 programme includes sessions on the development of the electric, oil and gas, chemical, and coal industries, as well as events dedicated to import substitution, digital transformation, energy transition, and climate issues.

“We continue our preparations for holding the annual Russian Energy Week. I am confident that its traditional venue – Manezh Exhibition Hall – will once again gather the leading industry experts and representatives of the new generation in the energy sphere," said Anton Kobyakov, Advisor to the President of the Russian Federation, Executive Secretary of the Russian Energy Week Organizing Committee.

Russian Energy Week International Forum serves as a platform for a discussion of the main challenges faced by the energy sector and topical problems involving the industry. The event traditionally brings together the highest level of leadership from the largest companies in the energy field. In 2021, the Forum was attended by 2,500 participants from more than 80 countries.

The Russian Energy Week is organized by the Roscongress Foundation and the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, with support from the Government of Moscow.
