Russian Energy Agency and ASEAN Centre for Energy Sign Letter of Cooperation

The Russian Energy Agency of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation and the ASEAN Centre for Energy signed a Letter of Cooperation at Russian Energy Week, which is taking place on 12–14 October 2022 in Moscow.

The document was certified by Alexey Kulapin, General Director, Russian Energy Agency (REA) of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation and Nuki Agya Utama, Executive Director of the ASEAN Centre for Energy.

“We are making a declaration about expanded cooperation between Russia and ASEAN in the field of energy. Specific areas of work to be undertaken together will include the collection and analysis of energy statistics and aspects of natural gas use and the development of the carbon market. We’ve already come to an agreement to hold regular meetings between the REA of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation and the Centre for Energy to discuss various projects and exchange information,” Kulapin said.
