The Strategy envisages establishment of a more balanced portfolio of production assets, a decrease of specific operating costs by at least 10%, and provisions for ensuring investment efficiency growth.

Irkutsk Oil Company (INK) was founded on 27 November 2000. INK and its subsidiaries (INK Group) focus mainly on the geological study, exploration and production of crude oil, condensate and natural gas on 41 licensed territories in eastern Siberia. In 18 years, INK has transformed from a local producer working on three oil fields to a large holding. INK is a dynamic company that is constantly developing. Thanks to the expansion of its production potential, INK was able to increase annual oil production, implement new technologies, create new jobs, and contribute a significant amount of tax revenue to the consolidated budget of the Irkutsk Region. INK is one of the 20 largest Russian oil companies by hydrocarbon reserves.

In the last ten years, INK Group has opened 12 new hydrocarbon fields in the Irkutsk Region and the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).

Today, INK is a system of production and auxiliary facilities, well equipped rotational work camps, hundreds of kilometres of internal pipelines and electrical lines, and a sprawling system of access routes. INK Group currently employs over 7.5 thousand people.
