RusHydro and Russian Railways Agreed to Cooperate

At Russian Energy Week, RusHydro and Russian Railways signed an agreement on cooperation in ensuring the safe operation of Russian Railways infrastructure, including hydro, man-made, and energy facilities. 

Both companies have engineering departments with a high scientific and technical potential and experience in implementing innovative developments.

The purpose of the strategic partnership is to organize cooperation in the field of ensuring safe operation of structures and reducing their accident rate, including the organization of studies of the impact of rolling stock on hydraulic structures of hydroelectric power stations, the introduction of information and diagnostic systems and the organization of scientific and technical cooperation.

RusHydro, the flagship of the Russian power industry, actively uses the latest global and domestic technologies and materials in the construction, modernization and operation of facilities.
