Petroleum Pendulum: Are Global Oil Market Volumes Shifting? Russia’s Answer

On Friday, 10 April at 12:00 Moscow time, guests and speakers at the Roscongress Foundation’s online studio will hold a discussion on what to expect from a volatile global oil market.

The oil market is currently undergoing significant fluctuations. Some experts forecast that the world is facing a production volume shift. By some estimations the shift will favour the Persian Gulf countries – and not just Saudi Arabia – while others suggest that other countries’ shares will increase, including that of Russia. Which scenario is the most likely? What decisions will be made? Is the United States’ market share set to shrink? How will these conditions affect Russian companies?

These and many other questions will be discussed on 10 April by the participants of the online session ‘Petroleum Pendulum: Are Global Oil Market Volumes Shifting? Russia’s Answer’.

The broadcast can be found on the Roscongress-TV Youtube channel and on the official Roscongress Foundation and REW Forum Facebook pages. The broadcast begins at 12:00 (MSK).

The stabilization of the global oil market, market forecasts, and development prospects are expected to be a major part of the business agenda of Russian Energy Week International Forum 2020, which will be held in Moscow from 13 to 16 October 2020.
