Russia, presented awards to the winners of the Power of the Pen international

“The
Russian and global energy sectors are going through a period of transformation.
The restructuring of logistics in the hydrocarbon trade, the renaissance of the
atom, the rapid growth in demand for clean energy, the shift in demand for coal
in Asia Pacific – these and other trends require professional coverage, which
is handled not only by experts, but also by representatives of federal and
regional media, employees of news agencies, TV journalists, and bloggers. It is
hard to overstate the importance of the work of media personnel who keep
readers and viewers informed about the life of the industry,” said Alexander
Novak.
A total of 262 applications
from Russia and 23 foreign countries were submitted to the Power of the Pen
contest. The winners were selected by a jury consisting of heads of leading TV
channels, business publications and news agencies.
