A cooperation agreement was
signed between the Roscongress Foundation and the African Energy Chamber during
the Russian Energy Week International Forum. The organizations established
partnership relations aimed at implementing joint projects and achieving
mutually beneficial goals. The document was signed by Alexander Stuglev,
Chairman of the Board and CEO of the Roscongress Foundation, and NJ Ayuk,
Executive Chairman of the African Energy Chamber.
"The development of
energy cooperation within the framework of international relations is extremely
relevant for our country today. The realization of full-fledged interaction in
the energy field largely depends on the parties involved. The African Energy
Chamber is a reputable institution capable of ensuring quality dialogue when
discussing energy issues. The agreement signed at REW will enable the
Roscongress Foundation and our African partners to strengthen cooperation in
various areas, including the organization of business events and participation
in them. I am confident that it has great prospects," said Chairman of the
Board and CEO of the Roscongress Foundation.
According to the document, the
Roscongress Foundation and the African Energy Chamber will provide mutual
consulting, information, and expert support. They will also organize joint
congress and exhibition events with a focus on energy, economics, and social
orientation. In addition, advertising and information campaigns are planned to
promote these specialized events. The organizations will combine their efforts
in the field of information cooperation to provide objective and comprehensive
coverage of joint events in the Russian and global information spaces and to
enhance the positive reputation of both parties.
One area of cooperation will
involve promoting existing partnerships and exploring new long-term
collaborations between representatives of the business communities of both
parties to attract investment in African and Russian energy projects.
Additionally, attention will be given to maintaining a dialogue in investment
and finance, export-import activities, tourism, and cultural interactions. The
cooperation of both parties will also focus on elevating the discussion on the
topic of alleviating energy poverty. Furthermore, there are plans to intensify
the promotion of organized events aimed at enhancing communication between
representatives in the public information field.
"This Memorandum of
Understanding is an important step by AEC and Roscongress to promote investment
in Africa, promote investment in the African energy sector, events, and fight
energy poverty," emphasized NJ Ayuk, Executive Chairman of the African
Energy Chamber.
