The Territory of Energy Dialogue 2023 Conference received international status
The 2nd Territory
of Energy Dialogue Scientific and Practical Conference, which will be held in
Moscow on 10 October, has acquired international status.
The panel
session entitled Energy Development Strategies of Russia and ASEAN: Comparative
Aspects and Prospects for Scientific and Technical Cooperation, held as part of
the 5th meeting of the Network of ASEAN-Russia Think-Tanks, will be attended by
Nuki Agya Utama, ASEAN Centre for Energy; Laode Sulaeman, Director of Oil and
Gas Infrastructure Planning and Development at the Ministry of Energy and
Mineral Resources of the Republic of Indonesia; and Atit Tippichai, Professor
at King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (Thailand).
Together
with colleagues from the Russian Energy Agency of the Ministry of Energy of the
Russian Federation, Moscow State Institute of International Relations, and
leading companies in the fuel and energy sector, they will discuss key areas of
scientific and technical cooperation between Russia and ASEAN member countries
in the energy sector, models of energy transition, ensuring energy security,
and other topical issues.
“Guided by
the ASEAN Plan of Action for Energy Cooperation (APAEC), energy cooperation in
ASEAN Member States seeks to achieve a balance between energy security, affordability,
and sustainability for all, utilizing all available solutions, including both
traditional fuels and renewable energy sources. It is noteworthy that Russia is
also developing a new energy strategy that places emphasis on this equilibrium.
The successful realization of the energy transition goals hinges on the
judicious selection of effective solutions. The Territory of Energy Dialogue
conference offers an excellent opportunity to engage in discussions regarding
mutually beneficial areas for collaborative scientific and technical efforts,”
said Nuki Agya Utama.
