Russian energy sector. Panellists will discuss the unique challenges of
developing, attracting, and retaining highly effective experts in the energy
sector.
The
discussion will focus on attracting talented specialists – the key competitive
advantage in the economy of the future – to the energy sector. The
technological shifts taking place around the world entail fundamental changes
in the global labour market. Approaches to labour-management and the nature of
companies’ organizational models are evolving. Globally, HR management is
focused on training, attracting, and retaining highly effective experts. Today,
talent is the key competitive advantage in the high-tech, diversified, and
creative economy of the future. The global demand for talent is set to
intensify. The values of lifelong education and personal growth have already
made their way into numerous elaborations of national strategic priorities,
including Russia’s. Given the crucial role of the energy system in the Russian
economy, it is vital to focus on effective tools that can help attract the best
talent, provide them with incentives, and develop their skills.
“Nuclear
energy, as the most promising of the energy sectors, requires not just highly
trained professionals, but talented specialists that can see the big picture,
analyze data, and make forecasts about the industry’s development 20 to 30
years into the future,” said HR Director of Rosatom State Atomic Energy
Corporation Tatyana Terentyeva.
