Today, the Russian fuel and energy sector is arguably one of the most socially oriented branches of the economy. However, does a single target development model exist? What advantages do women-led management strategies offer?
These and many other questions will be addressed by female representatives of Russia’s fuel and energy sector during Russian Energy Week at the Manege Central Exhibition Hall. The session, scheduled for 14 October, is entitled “Bringing the Woman’s Dimension to the Fuel and Energy Sector”.
Other issues to come under the
spotlight at the session will include a corporate social responsibility (CSR)
strategy as an integral part of the energy transition, the effectiveness of
results achieved through compromise, achieving a better balance between
professional and family obligations in the context of corporate social support
practices for women, and more.
Speakers at the session will
include Anastasiya Bondarenko, State Secretary and Deputy Minister of Energy of
the Russian Federation; Olga Golyshenkova, President of the Association of
Civilians and Organizations for Corporate Learning and Development (MAKO);
Polina Lion, Chief Sustainability Officer at Rosatom State Nuclear Energy
Corporation; and Maria Tikhonova, Deputy General Director for Regulatory
Relations at Rosseti.
