Alexander Novak met with young employees of the fuel and energy sector

At the Russian Energy Week taking place in Gostiny Dvor and Manege that present the achievements of engineering companies of the Municipal Utilities Complex, Alexander Novak, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, met with young specialists of MOSGAS.

“The company has created a full cycle of in-house production of equipment that ensures the safety of gas distribution facilities, which is especially important today,” emphasized Alexander Novak.

Deputy Prime Minister noted that the company is implementing advanced technologies for the gas industry, which are based on domestic solutions and proprietary software.

A lot of work has been done on the production of heat power facilities. “High-precision design at the first stages of product development allows each component of the equipment to be produced modularly at the production facility, then the plant is assembled in a short period of time. The equipment operates stably without the presence of personnel,” said Gasan Gasangadzhiev, General Director of MOSGAS.

The mobile boiler houses developed by gas engineers can be widely used in case of any emergency situation – it is a universal solution that will provide heat both to a separate apartment building and to a small neighbourhood if a bundle of boiler houses is used.

“The company’s own developments have made it possible to ensure a higher level of safety of gas distribution and thermal generation systems,” concluded Alexander Novak.

REW 2024 is being held in Moscow at two venues: the Manege Central Exhibition Hall, where the main events of the business programme are scheduled, and the Gostiny Dvor, where an exhibition of equipment and technologies for the fuel and energy sector is organized. The main theme of the Forum in 2024 is ‘Energy Cooperation in a Multipolar World’. Within the framework of REW 2024, there are about 30 events with participation of more than 100 speakers. On the sidelines of the Exhibition of Equipment and Technologies for the Fuel and Energy Industry, more than 20 sessions are planned for the engineering staff of energy companies with the participation of more than 70 speakers.

Russian Energy Week is supported by the Government of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation and the Moscow City Government. It is organized by the Roscongress Foundation.

18 November 2024 Russian Energy Week 2025 to be held on 15–17 October

“The eighth Russian Energy Week International Forum will be held on 15–17 October in Moscow. The Energy Strategy of the Russian Federation, which facilitates the creation of benchmarks to advance the energy sector as part of the Russian economy’s transition to an innovative development path, ensures the extension of the time horizon to 2030 in accordance with the new tasks and priorities of the country’s development. Every year at REW, we have the opportunity to witness how accurate these benchmarks are, and to adjust them accordingly. The Forum will feature sessions on the efficient use of natural energy resources and the development of the energy sector’s potential for sustainable economic growth, improving the quality of life of the country’s population and helping to strengthen its international economic position.
