Russian Deputy Minister of Energy Anton Inyutsyn has commented on preparations for the Russian Energy Week International Forum.
“The programme is significantly broader compared with last year. The Forum has become more informative and representative. S&P Global Platts, OPEC, and the Skolkovo Foundation will present their forecasts for energy development in the period until 2040. It is also important that we have managed to ensure that industry specialists and experts can take part in the Forum free of charge”, Inyutsyn said.
Inyutsyn will take part in the discussions: ‘Mayors’ Summit on Energy Efficiency and Sustainable Development’, ‘Gas-powered and Electric Vehicles in Russia: Possible Development Rates and Strategies’, ‘How Should We Develop Russia-EU Cooperation in Energy Efficiency and Development?’, and the ‘All-Russian Meeting on the Promotion of an Energy Saving lifestyle and Information Openness in the Fuel and Energy Sector’.
Other important discussions will be held on the sidelines of the Forum concerning the development of energy efficiency, the natural gas vehicle market, and the information transparency of the fuel and energy sector: ‘Can Natural Gas Become Popular around the World as a Motor Fuel?’, ‘Lighting a Megapolis: Security, Aesthetics, Energy Efficiency’, ‘A City Without Accidents: Reliable Engineering Systems and High-Quality Utilities as a Foundation for Creating a Comfortable Environment’, ‘Energy Efficiency and the Environment: The Two Whales of Future Energy’, the presentation by S&P Global Platts ‘Global Energy Industry Development Outlook to 2040’, the presentation of the Heat Supply System Efficiency Rating of the Russian Regions, and the presentation of the Energy Efficiency Rating of Grid Companies.
The Russian Ministry of Energy and the Roscongress Foundation recommend registering on the website rusenergyweek.com to take part in the Forum no later than 20 September 2018, including for the ‘special’ free package.
