“Energy plays a key role in the successful development of our country
and each region by providing energy to industry, social facilities, transport,
and the homes of millions of our citizens. The Russian energy industry is one
of the largest, most diverse, and efficient in the world, and such industry
events as the Russian Energy Week International Forum and Energy Day at the
RUSSIA EXPO provide an opportunity to demonstrate the achievements of domestic
industry to a broad audience. Energy production and consumption have been
growing steadily in recent years, which reflects economic development as well
as increased industrial activity and consumer demand. Such results are possible
thanks to the work of the highly qualified specialists and entire dynasties of
professionals who will also attend the events of Energy Day,” Novak said.
Energy Day is being organized by the Russian government and the
Ministry of Energy and will be managed by the Roscongress Foundation.
