The Territory of Energy
Dialogue (TED) Scientific and Practical Conference will be held in Moscow for
the third time. Traditionally, the event will be held on the opening day of the
International Forum ‘Russian Energy Week’. The conference is organized by the
Russian Energy Agency of the Ministry of Energy of Russia and the Roscongress
Foundation with the support of the Ministry of Energy of Russia.
“The key idea of the
conference in 2024 is to identify the main ways for our country to achieve
technological sovereignty. As part of this direction, the participants of the
plenary session will discuss the key challenges facing the Russian fuel and
energy complex, taking into account geopolitical realities,” said Alexey
Kulapin, Director General of the Russian Energy Ministry’s REA.
The panel discussions will be
attended by representatives of companies from the fuel and energy sector and
related industries, government authorities, scientific organizations and the
expert community. They will discuss priority and critical technologies in the
oil and gas, coal-fired heat and power industries, and try to find the optimal
technological choice and conditions for its provision. Another hot topic for
discussion will be the use of digital technologies and artificial intelligence,
as well as cybersecurity of energy systems.
“Today, artificial
intelligence technologies and digital platforms are widely used at fuel and
energy facilities. In this regard, cyber security issues are becoming an
integral part of the overall energy security system, so the expert position of
the professional community and companies within our conference is very
interesting and important,” added Alexey Kulapin.
There will be no charge for participants
to attend the conference.
