During the Russian Energy Week 2018, the ‘All-Russian
Conference on Preparations by Electric Power Organizations for the Autumn-Winter
Period 2018–2019’ will take place.
The meeting will be attended by Alexander
Novak, Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation, executives and chief
engineers of large energy companies (Rosseti, Rosenergoatom, RusHydro, Inter
RAO, Gazprom Energoholding as well as other large generating and distributing companies
and the System Operator of the Unified Energy System), regional authorities and
representatives of municipal units for reliability improvement. The Russian
Ministry of Construction of will co-organize the event.
In addition to the All-Russian meeting,
participants will have a chance to attend other events within the the business programme of the Russian Energy Week
International Forum, including the session ‘Modernizing Thermal Generating
Capacity in the Electric Power Industry’, presentation of the heat supply
system efficiency rating of the Russian regions, the meeting of Chief Engineers
of heat suppliers, the discussion ‘The Russian Energy Grid: A Dialogue with
Suppliers’, the meeting of Chief Engineers of electric grids, presentation of
the energy efficiency rating of grid companies, the lecture ‘Renewable Energy
in Russia: Current State and Prospects’ by Anatoly Chubais, the sessions
‘Renewable Energy Sources in Russia: From the Wholesale Market to Supplying
Energy to Isolated Regions’, ‘Gas-powered and Electric Vehicles in Russia:
Possible Development Rates and Strategies’, ‘A City Without Accidents: Reliable
Engineering Systems and High-Quality Utilities as a Foundation for Creating a
Comfortable Environment’, and others.
The events will be attended by Alexey Texler,
First Deputy Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation; Vyacheslav
Kravchenko and Andrey Cherezov, Deputy Ministers of Energy; Evgeny Grabchak and
Pavel Snikkars, heads of Energy Ministry departments. In total, over 4,000
representatives of companies, regulators, suppliers and manufacturers, experts
in the Russian and global electric power industry will gather at REW 2018 in
Moscow on 3–6 October.
The Russian Ministry of Energy and the
Roscongress Foundation recommend that representatives of the electric power
industry, experts, suppliers and manufacturers of equipment, marketing
companies register for participation in the Forum at the http://rusenergyweek.com/ website no later than 20 September
2018, and receive the accreditation badge in advance.
