Roscongress and KAZENERGY Agree to Promote Energy Agenda Together

The Roscongress Foundation and the Kazakhstan Association of Oil-Gas and Energy Sector Organizations KAZENERGY held an official ceremony in Moscow during Russian Energy Week to sign a cooperation agreement. The ceremony attended by Roscongress Foundation Chairman of the Board and CEO Alexander Stuglev and KAZENERGY Director General Asset Magauov.

The document envisages cooperation between the parties in the development of energy-related communication between the Russian and Kazakhstan expert communities and business circles, in particular joint business and thematic events, including conferences, seminars, roundtables, and forums that aim to develop the oil, gas, and energy sectors of the participating countries.

“The agreement aims to promote the energy agenda above all else. It will serve as an official platform for closer cooperation between our companies in this regard. It will make it possible to implement joint projects and exchange experience and expert opinions on topical issues concerning the development of oil and gas as well as trends in the sector’s technological development”, Alexander Stuglev said.

“Today, the KAZENERGY Association brings together the largest oil and gas and energy companies in Kazakhstan. We are actively involved in integrated solutions and initiatives that aim to upgrade the Kazakh fuel and energy sector. The agreement we signed with the Foundation calls for deeper integration in matters on the common agenda for the development of industries. I am confident that the prospects and opportunities that emerge as part of this cooperation will be extremely important and useful for many representatives of this industrial sector of our countries”, Asset Magauov said.

Under the agreement, the parties also plan to provide mutual consultations as well as information and expert support on key issues on the oil, gas and energy agenda.
