7th International Gas Forum opens in St. Petersburg

St. Petersburg, October 3. – The 7th St. Petersburg International Gas Forum started here as part of the Russian Energy Week (REW) Energy Efficiency and Energy Development International Forum.

Day one of the Forum saw the opening of the 5th International Specialized Exhibition InGAS Stream 2017 – Innovations in the Gas Industry, where manufacturers showcase existing and future technologies, products, goods and services for the gas industry.

InGAS Stream 2017 exhibitors include developers of innovative products and technologies, design organizations and research and development institutions involved in strategic development projects, including national and regional gasification programs, energy saving projects, the development of smaller deposits and new hydrocarbon fields. The exhibition will feature manufacturers and suppliers of equipment for the gas industry value chain, from exploration, production and transportation to processing and use of natural gas.

Tomorrow, 4 October, the Forum’s congress program will kick off to discuss the future of the gas industry, including the LNG and LPG market outlook, gas motor fuel and implementation of major infrastructure projects. Other topics include the industry’s HR potential, gasification of Russian regions and emerging technologies.
