The REW #BrighterTogether Youth Day to Present the Ideas for Digitalization of the Fuel and Energy Industries
On 5 October 2019, CASE-IN International
Engineering Championship Young Specialists’ League competitions will be held
during the #BrighterTogether Youth Day of the Russian Energy Week
International Forum. The project is part of the ‘Russia – Land of Opportunity’
platform established on the initiative of the Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Seventeen youth teams representing companies of
the fuel, energy and mining sectors
are to participate in the competition: T Plus, NMLK, SO UES, SamaraNIPIneft,
Tatneft, FSK UES, SIBUR, Yantarenergo, IDGC North-West, MOESK, OGK-2, Irkutsk
Oil Company, Zarubezhneft, SiburTyumenGaz, PAO Enel Russia, and SIBUR-Kstovo.
Participants will present solutions for the
engineering case ‘Digital Transformation of the Energy Company’. They will
determine a sufficient level of digitalization and processes automation and
evaluate their impact on their companies’ business model.
Participants had only ten days to develop
solutions. Experts from industry companies will evaluate the results of their
work.
The winners of the Young Specialists’ League
Championship will receive the Cup from the Minister of Energy Alexander Novak
and the Minister of Science and Higher Education Mikhail Kotyukov at the
meeting with the participants of #BrighterTogether Youth Day.
The Ministry of Energy of the Russian
Federation and the Roscongress Foundation with the support of the Government of
Moscow are the organizers of the Russian Energy Week.
