One of the central events of Youth Day at Russian Energy Week on 15 October will be the ‘Dialogue as Equals’, which will provide participants an opportunity to interact directly with representatives of the country’s leadership, the Russian Ministry of Energy, and CEOs of energy companies. They will answer guests’ questions and present awards to the winners of industry competitions held throughout the year. The Russian Society Znaniye is a partner of Youth Day and a co-organizer of the ‘Dialogue as Equals’.

CONCLUSIONS

The Russian Energy Agency (REA) of the Russian Ministry of Energy has become a business programme partner of the Russian Energy Week International Forum, which kicked off today with representatives of key fuel and energy companies and the government authorities of Russia and other countries in attendance.

Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak presented awards to the laureates of the Global Energy Prize for 2020 and 2021 on behalf of Russian President Vladimir Putin. The awards ceremony took place in Moscow as part of Russian Energy Week. The event was attended by Rosseti CEO Andrey Ryumin. The ceremony was hosted by Global Energy Association President Sergey Brilev and Russia 24 TV channel anchor Darya Kozlova.

Vladimir Putin addressed the plenary session on ‘Global Energy: Transformation for Development’ at the Russian Energy Week International Forum. President of Angola and chair of the 2021 OPEC conference João Lourenço also took part in the discussion on current trends in the global fuel and energy sector, along with heads of leading global energy companies.
