The congress and exhibition events in 2022 confirmed the willingness of friendly states to cooperate with Russia. In the past year, events organized by the Roscongress Foundation were attended by more than 30,000 participants from more than 140 countries and territories, and over 80 official delegations took part in the business programme of the events that offered over 600 sessions.
Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak chaired the first meeting of the Organizing Committee in charge of preparing for and holding the Russian Energy Week International Forum in 2023. The meeting was attended by representatives of the federal authorities, energy companies, and industry communities.

The 6th Russian Energy Week International Forum (REW), one of the key international events for discussing current trends in the fuel and energy industry, will take place in Moscow on 11–13 October 2023. Manege Central Exhibition Hall will once again host the event. The Forum is organized by the Roscongress Foundation and the Russian Ministry of Energy with the support of the Moscow Government.
Participants in the special REW Junior section – talented high school students planning careers in the fuel and energy complex – met with Alexander Novak, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, held a roundtable with the rectors of leading industry-specific universities, and took part in a strategic session on transforming career opportunities.

The Russian Energy Week International Forum 2022 (REW) took place at the Manege Central Exhibition Hall in Moscow on 12–14 October. REW is a major platform for the discussion of current trends in the fuel and energy industry in order to find solutions to key issues facing the industry. The slogan of this year’s REW is ‘Global Energy in a Multipolar World’. The Forum was organized by the Roscongress Foundation and the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation with the support of the Moscow Government.
Over one thousand young professionals, students and schoolchildren participated in the Youth Day that summed up the Russian Energy Week 2022 International Forum in Moscow. The or-ganizers were the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, the Roscongress Foundation, the Government of Moscow, the Russian Znanie Society, and the Smena Foundation. The Youth Day was co-organized by the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh).
On 14 October, on the venues of Russian Energy Week, a meeting on import substitution was held. It was chaired by Deputy Prime Ministers Alexander Novak and Denis Manturov with the participation of major oil and gas companies and Russian equipment manufacturers.
Participants in the session ‘Improving the Reliability and Quality of Power Supply: Con-solidating Power Facilities’ at the Russian Energy Week International Forum 2022 (REW) dis-cussed work to consolidate the power grid, taking into account its fragmented structure, poor reli-ability and service quality indicators, and high operating costs. The session was organized by the Russian Energy Agency of the Russian Ministry of Energy and the Roscongress Foundation with the support of the Russian Ministry of Energy.
