This year, Russian Energy Week will be held for the first time at two venues: from 26 to 28 September Manege Central Exhibition Hall will host events of the business programme, and Gostiny Dvor will offer an exhibition of equipment and technologies for the fuel and energy complex.

The Russian Energy Week International Forum Organizing Committee met in Moscow under the leadership of Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak. Meeting discussion touched on the readiness of venues, the business programme, and infrastructure and security at the Forum. This year’s Russian Energy Week will be held for the first time at two different venues, with the Manege Central Exhibition Hall hosting business programme events and an exhibition of energy sector equipment and technologies planned for Gostiny Dvor. The main events are scheduled for 26 and 27 September, with the third day of the forum dedicated, as in previous years, to the youth agenda.

Traditionally, the event will be held on the opening day of the International Forum ‘Russian Energy Week’.

More than 50 nominations were received from Europe, Asia, Africa, Oceania, and both Americas.

A grand celebration of the fuel and energy sector, the ‘National Achievements Forum: Energy Sector’ took place on 20 February at the International RUSSIA EXPO.

For an entire day on 20 February, the Forum of National Achievements: Energy entertained guests with educational, cultural, sports, and gastronomic programmes.

The ‘Get Charged Up 2.0’ Energy and Sports Festival was held as part of the ‘National Achievements Forum: Energy Sector’ at VDNH.

The plenary session ‘Leadership and Sustainability of the Russian Energy Sector’ was held at the international RUSSIA EXPO, kick starting the National Achievements Forum theme day.

Senior government officials, the leaders of key agencies and companies, and regional governors are all taking part in the events of the programme.

Carbon neutrality is a key goal of Russia’s new Climate Doctrine, which was approved by a presidential decree in October 2023.

One of the key venues of the ‘Energy’ themed day of the National Achievements Forum at the International RUSSIA EXPO will be the ATOM pavilion.
